| Details | Want to work on triple time East Coast Swing (ECS)? ; Want to learn some Charleston? ; Have friends or family members that want to learn to swing dance?; UTA Continuing Education offers 7 weeks of classes in ECS I & II: ; East Coast Swing I is geared to new dancers and will teach students single and triple time East Coast Swing. Classes are 8:00PM-9:00PM every Thursday from Sept 13-Oct 25. The entire series costs $70.00 per person.; East Coast Swing II will be all triple time swing and Charleston. It is recommended you have completed a swing dance series and be familiar with single and triple time ECS. Classes are 9:00PM-10:00PM every Thursday from Sept 13-Oct 25. The entire series costs $70.00 per person.; In both classes; we will build a foundation in technique; frame and connection; and partnership skills while we explore East Coast Swing. We will discuss the music that compliments each dance and watch video clips of professionals and contest winners in each swing dance form. The instructors; Jerry Smith and Helen Dulac have been teaching together four and a half years and have 12 years combined experience in dance.
